Off the needles

Well cambio is off the needles. I have now purchased the tape and ribbon required to finish it off but there are soooo many ends to finish off! Soon it will be complete.

In the meantime last week I whipped up a shrug in Patons Feathers. It was a really quick knit with really cheap yarn. Spotlight were selling off a couple of discontinued colours so I bought the lime green/blue combo that I made the shrug in and a big bag of a beautiful vibrant orange which I have now started a jacket in. I know Feathers is not the most sophisticated yarn around but you can't deny it's fun. As for the shrug I'm not sure I'll actually wear it, I'm not convinced by the style and the way it seems to hang at the back. So far I have failed to coerce anyone into taking pictures of it for me but hopefully tomorrow, otherwise you'll get a picture of it on a hanger. Actually it may look better that way!

Today I signed up for Project Spectrum which looks like fun.
