Project spectrum is Marching.

I decided to knit A Capella with my burgundy/red yarn. It's progressing very rapidly and I'm picking I'll probably finish the knitting tonight. I still haven't decided whether to finish it with the crocheted looped edging, which may look rather bulky but does look quite victorian and romantic in the picture OR should I do the fringed edging? I don't know about fringing - I think I may be getting too old to carry that off. Actually, I may be too old to wear the entire garment but I'll worry about that later, it's fun to knit. I've never done a short row shaped piece like this before.

I haven't decided what to do with the red fabric yet - too hard!

I haven't done a lot of crafting this week, I worked an extra day and I've been a little distracted by the new Digital Elite Team contest at DSP. I don't have a hope in hell of getting on the DET or even getting through the first round but I get a free kit to do a layout with so I've got nothing to lose really. I made three layouts and finally settled on one of Gareth & the two girls that used to live next door as my entry, G was mortified when one of the comments said the "three girls were very cute"!!!!

I'm sorry Carole, I did see your lovely button BUT I'm afraid I have a severe allergy to pink - it's life-threatening.

I saw that comment about your scrapbook entry. I thought at the time, "Those three kids *are* cute, but Gareth doesn't look like a girl!"
