Interweave

This week I purchased my first copy of Interweave Knits. I've never actually seen one in the flesh before. I am just drooling over it. There are so many interesting projects to knit. Thing is, a lot of them look like interesting and fun knits but just weren't designed with my figure (or lack thereof) in mind. Is it sad and pathetic to be finding the adverts interesting too? Pictures of products I've heard mentioned and never seen but sadly am unlikely to ever posess as the prices become extortionate with exchange rate and shipping costs. Even the magazine cost me $18! I worked out if I subscribe for 2 yrs it would be about $10 per issue but then you've got the worry of whether it will arrive. When I subscribed to Fons & Porter quilting magazine I had to chase each issue. I never actually ended up with my final issue because I got caught up in exams and forgot about it. It was so far down the track when I actually realised that it didn't seem worth the hassle of following it up. A pity, it was quite a good mag but it became "tainted" in my eyes.
