School holidays Day 1

Well today was easy we went to visit friends from ante-natal class. After 8 years we still keep in touch with two families who have become good friends. It's much harder to meet now all the kids are at school and we've all got part-time jobs. One family couldn't find a time that worked this set of holidays so hopefully we'll catch up with them in September. The kids had fun dressing up and performing a play and then "shooting hoops" in the mud between showers of rain. I got to drink tea and chat which I do so rarely these days. It was very pleasant.
