A few December Dailies

Dh's company Christmas party was at the zoo, it was a lot of fun despite being amongst the few that dressed up in themed clothing. Many of the animals seem to go to bed early too so there were a lot we didn't see at all.

I was shocked and horrified to come home yesterday and find my troughs had been dug up. I've lost lettuces, tomato and aubergine plants. I'm not good at growing things anyway so it was a major achievement to even get these planted. The evidence suggests the band of wild peacocks have returned. Last year they ate all my cherry tomatoes just as they ripened.
