KQ 12X12 November: Home
Kiwiquilters were inspired by TWELVE BY TWELVE: The International Art Quilt Challenge and decided to have their own version.
Each month a theme will be chosen and we are to make a 12" x 12" quilt to illustrate our interpretation of them then post a photo at the end of the month to show what we've done. November's theme is HOME.
I came up with my concept and design very quickly. I'm endeavouring to just use material from my stash and I was surprised to find there was absolutely nothing black in there. A quick change of plans and you can see my starting materials assembled. I've done some cutting and sticking but haven't got much further. Time is ticking!
