Set a few years after the "mind-rain" society has changed but not for the better, at least not in the city this is set in, where the reputation economy rules and people are every bit as shallow as they were when they were bubble-heads.
I enjoyed it just as much as the rest of the series, it's a quick read of good escapist fantasy with a bit of a poke at the failings of our society.
