This was my entry into the inaugural Kiwiquilters Challenge.It was inspired by the book "Master of the Five Magics" by Lyndon Hardy, each of the symbols represents one of the magics. It is hand pieced and appliqued but machine quilted. I used one of the fancy embroidery stitches on my new machine to embellish the seams and a wonderful variegated thread that, unfortunately, doesn't show up in the photo.
