This is the result of a class I attended in March to learn the "snippets technique which is like painting with fabric scraps. It's a lot of fun!

ok, can you explain how you did this one? It is beautiful, did you actually peice together all different colors of fabric to "paint" the picture?

The blue, orange and yellow backgrounds were pieced together and then the picture was painted on top with "snippets" of fabric. The fabric is randomly cut into shapes with steam-a-seam on the back. Shuffle the colours around until they make the picture you want then iron permanently into place.
