Cable Vest

I've been meaning to post a photo of the vest I finished in September and that I was very glad of when I went to chilly Dunedin.
The Pattern was from the Thorobred scheepjeswol Winter Journal No 10, which must be from the late '80s or early 90s. The wool was about the same vintage being Thorobred scheepjeswol Nobel Tweed Shade 5676 Tan Weave. It's 48% wool, 37% acrylic, 6% mohair, 6% alpaca and 3% silk and was knitted on 5mm needles.

So here's an awful photo of me wearing the thing and a close up to try and show the cable and colour detail.
