On the needles
My latest knitting project is Cambio which has been currently held up due to lack of beads - I have them on order. If I'd known just how many packets of beads this was going to take I might not have started this project. I think it will cost me close to $70 in beads, just as well I already had the yarn. I'm knitting it with one of those late '80s/early '90s period yarns that lurk in my cupboard. This time it's Thorobred scheepjeswol Linnen de Luxe which is 50% Linen, 50% Acrylic. I've done the lower half of the bodice and one sleeve. Here is how it's looking so far.

It's quite interesting returning to knitting. The proliferation of patterns on the internet is largely American which means I keep needing translations. Who knew there was an American size of knitting needle different to the British and Metric sizings that I'm familiar with. The odd unfamiliar abbreviation keeps popping up too, such as BO (bind off) for cast off. But it's all good fun just the same.

Oh cool -- it looks great!
I'm curious what language the yarn names are in.
