• associated with nature. Birth, rebirth, life, growth, healing, rest and regeneration. Plentiful bounty and unripened and immature harvest.
• freshness and joy of youth
• a blend of yellow and blue
• neutral, lies between warm and cool hues providing balance
• calming visual effect, passive
• people - contemplative, relaxes the eye

in art

• contrast and companion to yellows, pink, peach, purples and blues
• complement magenta (red) and after image pink
• when acts as cool colour eg mint it recedes in the design
• yellow green and forest green are warm and advance
• neutralises visual power of red and magenta
