First Day of a New Decade

You would think the dawning of a decade would inspire some momentous activity wouldn't you?  Not here, I'm not into setting unrealistic goals and creating false hope just because it's the 1st of the 1st. If I want to achieve something I can start that ANY day I choose!

There are some who say you should spend New Years Day the way you wish to spend the whole year. If that's the case the year won't be bad, not exciting but not bad. I did some scrapbooking, daily creativity of any sort is a good thing. I played games with family - Christmas saw the arrival of a fooseball table and the game Munchkin - both of which I'm terrible at. I also refused to cook dinner so we had Chinese - I bet I can't keep that up all year.

On the scrapping front I'm playing catch up. I scrapped July & November pages for the 9 on the 9th 2009 challenge. I just have December left to do and then I'm ready to start on this years equivalent.

I have the new 2 page sketch challenge up for January and I've got all the dates for Scrapping with the Stars for 2010 organised too. Not a bad start to the year.
